Job description

Join the MTI Ambulance Team - EMTs Wanted!
MTI Ambulance is woman-owned with a diverse, small, and focused leadership team that blends different experiences and perspectives to create a workplace that actually listens to its people. We believe in trust, not micromanagement-our team is here to support you, not breathe down your neck.
We're a Gen Z-driven company that values innovation, inclusivity, and fresh ideas-because we know the new workforce expects more than "the way it's always been done."
We're building a company where your voice matters, your work is respected, and you have access to the latest technology to do your job safely and effectively.
Open Positions
  • Certified EMTs (Must be 23+, all EMTs are drivers)
Requirements:
  • 23+ with no at fault accidents (insurance requirement/no exceptions)
  • California Drivers License with clean driving record
  • California EMT Certification
  • Orange County Accreditation a plus
  • AHA or ARC CPR Certification (BLS Level)
  • Medical Examiner's Certification
  • Ambulance Drivers License
What to Bring to an Interview?
  • K-4 driver printout (available online from the DMV)
  • A positive attitude and readiness to join a team that's new and exciting
  • Your best first impression - show up ready, confident, and professional
Why MTI Ambulance?
We're setting a new standard in non-emergency ambulance transport:
  • AI-assisted dispatching - Smarter, faster response management
  • Newest ambulance technology - Power gurneys & auto-load systems
  • Mobile Data Terminals (MDTs) on every ambulance
  • AEDs on every rig
  • Every EMT drives - No stuck-in-the-back or behind the wheel forever roles. You'll rotate, gaining driver and patient care experience
  • No outdated desk manager culture - Your ideas matter here and our managers have been in your boots.
  • Small, focused leadership team - We guide and support, not micromanage
Employee Benefits
Because we know you deserve more than just a paycheck:
  • Medical, Dental, Vision (for all full-time employees)
  • Performance reviews with real growth opportunities
  • Access to CE Solutions for continuing education
  • Shift differentials (extra pay for nights & weekends)
  • Overtime after 8 hours
  • Guaranteed rest breaks
  • If we can't get you a meal break, we pay you the meal break penalty
  • 6 paid sick days (per LA City requirements)
  • Certification renewals paid
  • Since we are new, we want to hear what benefits you want
About Pay
We believe in transparent pay practices. We won't advertise inflated hourly rates by mixing regular and overtime pay, we keep it real. What you see is what you get-with fair overtime, shift differentials, and plenty of opportunities to earn more.
Who We're Looking For
  • Certified EMTs ready to rotate between driving and patient care
  • Must be 23 or over and have a clean driving record
  • Certified Dispatchers who want to work with the latest tech
  • EMS Providers who want to be part of something new, innovative, and employee-focused
