SNELLING is partnering with a respected Tyler company to find a Workplace Hospitality Coordinator on a temp-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for someone who naturally notices the details others miss and enjoys creating a clean, organized, comfortable, and welcoming experience for employees and guests.
Pay: $18-$21+ per hour
Schedule: 38-40 hours per week with flexibility within normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.). Occasional evening and weekend event support may be needed with advance notice.

About the Role

The Workplace Hospitality Coordinator serves as the steward of the workplace environment. This person takes ownership of the details that create a positive experience for employees, visitors, and leadership. They proactively identify needs, maintain high standards of presentation, and help ensure the office always feels welcoming, organized, and well cared for. The ideal candidate is warm, observant, professional, and self-directed. They enjoy serving others and take initiative without being asked.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a welcoming, polished, and professional office environment throughout the day
• Monitor common areas and address appearance, organization, and hospitality needs proactively
• Keep kitchens, break areas, conference rooms, and shared spaces fully stocked, organized, and guest-ready
• Ensure beverages, snacks, refreshments, and supplies are available and presented neatly
• Prepare meeting rooms and event spaces before meetings and restore them afterward
• Serve as a friendly point of contact for workplace needs and employee requests
• Anticipate needs and identify opportunities to improve the employee and visitor experience
• Conduct regular walkthroughs to ensure all areas maintain a high standard of presentation
• Coordinate with facilities and maintenance personnel when repairs or building issues are identified
• Assist with light furniture movement, event preparation, and special projects as needed
• Support a culture of hospitality, professionalism, and care throughout the organization

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, guest services, estate management, event support, short-term rental management, customer service, or a similar service-oriented role preferred
• Enjoys helping people and creating positive experiences for others
• Natural attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership
• Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor
• Ability to anticipate needs and take initiative with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Comfortable staying active throughout the day and lifting up to 50 pounds when needed
• Reliable work history and strong professional references
• High standards for cleanliness, presentation, and organization

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability and willingness to adhere to company appearance and professional dress standards, including policies regarding visible tattoos and piercings.
