Job description

Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth!  Rite of Passage Team is hiring a Part Time Youth Care Worker at Willard Peak Residential in Brigham City, Utah
 
Willard Peak Residential is certified by the Utah Network on Juveniles Offending Sexually (NOJOS) as a level-six treatment program and is licensed to serve up to 8 male youth, ages 12 to 15, who have engaged in sexual misconduct or sexually reactive behaviors and are referred by the Division of Juvenile Justice Services (DJJS) or Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) for code YSF-Y.
 
Pay: $15.00 per hour depending on experience and education.

What you will do: Youth Support Workers provide safety, around-the-clock supervision, mediation, crisis management, and social, educational, and recreational support following the daily schedule. Conduct a physical count of students within the living area and update check sheet as required by site operations. Monitor and document client behaviors and activities. Transport youth in company vehicles. Communicate any youth-related concerns, behavior changes, emotions, academic progress, and their overall disposition to ensure the treatment plan is adjusted to meet the youth's success.
 
To be considered you should: Have a High School Diploma or Equivalent, be at least 21 years old, be able wo pass a criminal background check, drug screening, physical and TB screening
