Job description

Job Responsibilities The Agency's mission is to be boldly innovative in improving the health and quality of life for South Carolinians. This is position is located in the Bureau of Quality, Richland County. This is an in-office role and not a telecommute or remote position.

Are you the One. We are looking for a Program Coordinator I (BabyNet Provider Enrollment Coordinator) who, under general supervision of the Operations Manager, coordinates complex administrative business support activities of the IDEA Part C program related to provider agreement management, provider enrollment, and system access. Supports recruitment and retention efforts by attending conferences and community events to offer information and education on becoming a BabyNet provider.

Carries out daily activities related to the BabyNet service provider enrollment process, including reviewing provider application packets for completeness, ensuring applications for rendering providers are affiliated with enrolled billing providers, and notifying potential providers of their enrollment approval status. Communicates with prospective and current BabyNet providers regarding enrollment issues as needed. Creates new BRIDGES (BabyNet Reporting & Intervention Data Gathering Electronic System) accounts, edits current accounts, and inactivates accounts upon request from BabyNet providers.

Assists with recruiting efforts for BabyNet providers statewide, with specific focus on geographic areas with provider shortages. Attends all local and state-level events and meetings as requested by management to provide information on BabyNet and Provider Enrollment. Onsite activities not to exceed 12 per year.

Leads or supports other projects proactively or as assigned by Agency leadership. Continuously engages in process improvement to support Agency, Division, and Bureau-wide strategies, objectives, and initiatives. Collaborates with other policy team members in research, development, implementation, and evaluation activities for services, projects, and agency initiatives as assigned.

Performs other related duties as required. Assists with investigating and escalating provider edits. Makes necessary provider account updates in BRIDGES to ensure accurate claims processing.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a human services field. Additional Requirements: Valid driver's license. Occasional overnight travel.

Requires holder to drive routinely. Overtime and/or weekend work with Deputy approval. Sitting or standing for long period of time.

Lifting requirements: 20 lbs. In-office role. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of governmental state and federal policies, practices and procedures of the Individuals With Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Part C program.

Ability to formulate and implement program and administrative policies and procedures. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communicate effectively.
