Job description

Position Overview

Bio-One is seeking dependable, emotionally steady individuals to assist during scheduled hoarding and extreme cleaning projects.

This is a part-time fill-in position. it is best for someone who wants occasional extra work when our schedule is busy or when larger cleanup projects require additional crew members.Jobs are typically scheduled during weekday daytime hours. Hours are not guaranteed every week. We are building a roster of reliable backup technicians to call upon when extra help is needed.

This position works especially well for individuals who already have another job but have flexible weekday availability, rotating schedules, or certain days off. While not required, we appreciate candidates who have demonstrated responsibility in other roles.

The Nature of the Work

This work can be physically demanding and extreme. These environments are not for everyone. Projects may involve:

  • Severe hoarding conditions, with clutter from floor to ceiling
  • Strong, unpleasant odors
  • Rodent droppings or animal waste
  • Bathrooms requiring biohazard-level sanitation
  • Heavy debris removal and lifting
  • Dust, grime, and filth that most people would find overwhelming
  • Wearing PPE for extended periods

This is not light housekeeping. It requires resilience, maturity, and a strong work ethic. You must be comfortable with environments that are unsanitary, physically challenging, and at times extreme.

Small, Supportive Team

Bio-One is a small, locally owned business where our crew members are valued as people, not numbers. We work closely together every day, building strong relationships through teamwork, encouragement, and humor. We laugh with each other, support each other, and celebrate the work we do as a team.

Our Culture

We value reliability, humility, respect, integrity, and compassion. A good culture fit is essential — we want someone who cares deeply about people and takes pride in meaningful work.

Beyond physical ability, empathy and compassion are essential.

We enter homes during vulnerable moments in people’s lives. Every technician must treat clients with dignity and respect at all times. There is no shaming, gossiping, or judgment — inside or outside of the job. Professionalism and discretion are non-negotiable.

Requirements

  • 18+ years old
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
  • Comfortable working in extreme and unsanitary environments
  • Reliable communication and attendance
  • Emotionally steady and professional

Important

This work is not easy — but it is meaningful. We restore safe, livable spaces and help people move forward.

If you are looking for easy cleaning work, this is not the position for you.

If you value teamwork, integrity, and being part of a small business that genuinely cares about its people, we would welcome your application.
