Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and required Philips MR proficiency for a 26-week assignment in Scarborough, ME.

Details
  • Position is based at an outpatient campus, with inpatient coverage available at an affiliated site
  • Philips MR 1.5T and 3T scanners (Ingenia or Ambition platforms) are used exclusively
  • Imaging scope includes Neuro (spine, brain, brain perfusion), Body (abdomen, MRCP, kidney, pelvis), and MSK — breast, cardiac, and prostate imaging are not required
  • Patient ratios are 1:1
  • EMR is Epic
  • Shift is 12 hours; multiple schedule configurations may be offered, including day, overnight, or weekend-weighted schedules
  • Possible shift options include: overnights (Thursday/Friday/Saturday, 6:45 PM–7:15 AM), weekend-plus-weekday (Saturday/Sunday 6:30 AM–7:00 PM plus one weekday), or Friday-weekend combination
  • 36 hours per week
  • No on-call requirements
  • May rotate between sites (up to 25 miles apart) for non-overnight positions
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
  • Philips MR experience is required — candidates without Philips experience will not be considered
  • ARRT (MR) or AMRIT certification required
  • Level 1 Trauma Center experience is preferred
  • Experience with anesthesia and ICU patients is preferred
  • Proficiency with Neuro, Body, and MSK imaging protocols required
  • Maine state MRI licensure is not required; license required if applicable
  • Driver's License required for consideration
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • 2 professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (including residents of Maine or New Hampshire) are considered local and are subject to a different bill rate
  • Local candidates are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
  • Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this when being considered
  • Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this position
  • Use of AirPods, laptops, and cell phones on the unit is prohibited
  • Scrubs are required; hospital-issued scrubs are not permitted — candidates must wear their own scrubs in any color
