Job description

PT/OT Lymphedema Therapist...

The PT/OT performs the duties of the clinical specialist with competence in skills and professionalism treating a primary patient care population of  lymphedema. The PT/OT actively participates in the growth and development of their Clinic including quality management and program development. 

To qualify you must...

A.        For hire:

  1.            Meets qualifications of the New Graduate PT/OT and has a minimum of 1 year of

                     experience.

  1.            Clinical training and experience in evaluation and treatment of  a primary patient care

                           population of lymphedema and/or pelvic floor dysfunction in female, male and pediatric

                           patients.

3.      Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists must be licensed in their state of hire and eligible for licensure in alternate state (license to be obtained within 3 months of hire).

4.      Good general health and emotional stability.

5.      Ability to bend, lift and assist with transfers and ambulation.

6.      Adequate physical strength to assist with resistive activities.

7.      Trained and certified bi-annually in CPR.

8.      The therapist is required to work a minimum of two evenings per week unless approved by the VP of Special Projects.
