Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and classroom activities
Explain topics such as:
Constitution and Bill of Rights
Branches of government
Elections and voting
Citizenship responsibilities
Laws and public policy
State and local government
Incorporate current events and real-world connections into lessons
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs
Maintain a positive, safe, and structured classroom environment
Establish and enforce classroom rules and expectations
Monitor student behavior and encourage respectful discussions and debate
Promote critical thinking and student participation
Assessment & Academic Support
Create quizzes, tests, projects, and assignments
Assess student progress and maintain accurate grade records
Provide feedback and academic support to students
Prepare students for district and state assessments
