Pet accidents, illnesses, and injuries are all unfortunate and seem to always happen at the worst of times when primary care veterinarians are either closed or too busy to see the pet. For these reasons, we are excited to announce that our new Priority Pet Urgent Care of Clayton is now open!

We are available for urgent care pet needs 7 days a week from 4pm – 12pm. We're looking to hire the most compassionate, experienced, and qualified veterinarians and support staff, to ensure the highest quality of medicine is provided. Our new building and state of the art equipment will provide our teams the space and tools they'll need to deliver the best in service and medicine for our community!

Job Description

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area, greet and welcome clients and patients, answer questions and triage client concerns, answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution, schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, check in and check out clients and process payments. Our receptionists offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients and must be comfortable with various medical outcomes.

Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.

Qualifications

We're looking for:

A customer-oriented service representative. A customer service representative, or CSR, will act as a liaison, provide product/services information, and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. We are looking for someone who is patient, empathetic and passionately communicative. Customer service representatives can put themselves in their customers' shoes and advocate for them when necessary. They are confident at troubleshooting and investigate if they don't have enough information to resolve customer complaints. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.

  • Experienced Veterinary Receptionist with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred.
  • Compassionate and calm team-player
  • The ability to multi-task.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Highly organized and possess computer skills.
  • Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset.
