Full-Time Speech and Language Pathologist Job Summary:

The Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) provides virtual assessment and therapy services for Braintree students with speech and language needs. This role includes conducting evaluations, developing and implementing IEPs, delivering individualized virtual therapy, and collaborating with educators and families to support student communication goals.

Duties and responsibilities:


  • Conduct comprehensive virtual speech and language evaluations
  • Support and provide oversight to SLPAs
  • Review speech concerns submitted by teachers/parents and review speech samples to determine next steps
  • Develop individualized therapy plans aligned with student goals and IEPs
  • Provide engaging, effective teletherapy sessions
  • Track and document student progress using measurable data
  • Share IEP goal progress with families on a quarterly basis
  • Lead IEP meetings and complete all speech/language IEP components
  • Communicate consistently with the Asst. Director of Special Education
  • Respond to parent/family communication (email, phone, text) within 24 hours
  • Build strong, positive relationships with students and families
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and administrators for whole-child support
  • Learn and incorporate Braintree tools and resources
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:


  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
