    Clinical Director
    Monte Nido Walden

As part of Monte Nido, a national leader in eating disorder treatment, we offer evidence-based, compassionate care across the full continuum of treatment, including inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and virtual programs.
    Our multidisciplinary teams are committed to helping children, adolescents, and adults of all genders recover from anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, ARFID, and other eating disorders.     The Clinical Director provides strategic and operational leadership for our PHP and IOP programs in Middletown, CT. This role is responsible for the overall clinical, operational, financial, and programmatic success of the site while ensuring the delivery of exceptional, evidence-based patient care.
    Working closely with regional and national leadership, the Clinical Director fosters a collaborative, mission-driven culture, supports clinical excellence, and leads a multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping patients achieve lasting recovery.

    Responsibilities Include:
    • Provide overall leadership and oversight of the PHP and IOP programs.
    • Ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based clinical services and exceptional patient outcomes.
    • Recruit, develop, coach, supervise, and retain a multidisciplinary clinical team.
    • Provide clinical supervision and professional development for staff.
    • Oversee program operations, budgeting, productivity, and fiscal performance.
    • Monitor quality, compliance, accreditation, and regulatory standards.
    • Partner with admissions, outreach, and marketing teams to support program growth and community engagement.
    • Foster strong relationships with referral sources and community partners.
    • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
    • Promote a positive culture that reflects Monte Nido's mission, values, and commitment to clinical excellence.

    Qualifications:
    • Master's Degree, Psy D or PhD in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field
    • At least 5 years of leadership experience
    • Minimum of 5 years clinical experience with a psychiatric, mental health and/or eating disorder population; 24/7 level of care strongly preferred
    • Clinical supervisory and managerial experience with a budget in excess of $1M and multiple direct reports
    • Experience with marketing, systems strategy, psychosocial treatment strategies, knowledge of eating disorders, age specific growth and development, limit setting, crisis and behavioral management.
    • Previous experience working with commercial insurance carriers including managed care
    • You must possess knowledge of team management, psychiatric group process, therapeutic relationships processes, age specific growth and development, limit setting and behavior management, crisis management with aggressive behaviors.
