Job description

Supports the uninterrupted flow of materials throughout Velentium Medical's manufacturing, engineering, and warehouse operations. Responsible for receiving, storing, transporting, replenishing, and maintaining inventory accuracy of raw materials, components, finished goods, and production supplies. Supports Kanban replenishment systems, inventory control activities, and material availability to ensure efficient production operations while maintaining compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Responsible for the following:

  • Receive, inspect, identify, and process incoming materials, components, supplies, and equipment.
  • Verify received materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving documentation.
  • Transport materials between warehouse, stockroom, manufacturing, engineering, inspection, and shipping areas.
  • Support material issuance, replenishment, and return transactions within the company's ERP system.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory transactions are completed in a timely manner.
  • Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to support inventory accuracy objectives.
  • Support Kanban replenishment activities by monitoring inventory levels and replenishing production locations based on established triggers and stocking levels.
  • Maintain Kanban bins, visual inventory controls, labeling, and replenishment systems throughout manufacturing and warehouse areas.
  • Identify and communicate material shortages, inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or replenishment concerns.
  • Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, segregated, and protected in accordance with quality system requirements.
  • Assist with stockroom organization, warehouse housekeeping, and inventory optimization efforts.
  • Support shipping and receiving activities including packaging, staging, and preparation of materials for shipment.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and Inventory Control teams to support production schedules and customer requirements.
  • Assist with material kitting activities to support manufacturing and project needs.
  • Operate material handling equipment, carts, pallet jacks, and other approved equipment safely and effectively.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, material flow, warehouse organization, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, quality system requirements, safety procedures, and applicable regulatory standards.

Performance Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, material handling, manufacturing support, or a related environment.
  • Experience using inventory management systems, ERP systems, or warehouse management systems.
  • Ability and willingness to inspect and/or review the deliverables of others, up to their level of expertise, according to applicable defined Quality criteria.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions, packing slips, inventory reports, and related documentation.

  • Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment preferred.
