Job description


Summary

The ideal candidate is a team player with strong interpersonal skills who will provide a quality tennis experience for guests and members of The Boca Raton.

Essential Functions

Job duties include, although are not limited to:

  • Teaching private lessons and clinics for members and guests
  • Being available as needed for front desk operation and court maintenance
  • Stringing racquets
  • Implementing member and group events, evening hours, league and team organization.


Internal Relationships

Reports to Director of Racquet Sports

External Relationships

Has regular contact with club members and Resort guests

Qualifications and Education/Experience Requirements

  • Preferably USPTA or PTR certified with four or more years teaching experience. High school / college tournament play.

Physical Requirements

Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. It requires walking or standing to a significant degree, as well as reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing.
