Job Title: Racquets Program Coordinator
Position Summary:
The Racquets Department Program Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all racquets programming to enhance member engagement and satisfaction. This role focuses on delivering high-quality tennis, pickleball, and racquet-based experiences through organized clinics, leagues, tournaments, and social events while supporting the daily operations of Racquet’s facilities.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, member-focused, and passionate about racquet sports, with a strong ability to create dynamic programming for all ages and skill levels.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop, schedule, and execute a comprehensive racquets programming calendar including clinics, leagues, mixers, tournaments, and social events.
- Create innovative and engaging programs for all demographics.
- Collaborate with other departments to create cross-functional events.
- Evaluate program participation and adjust offerings accordingly.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Engage with members to build relationships and increase participation.
- Respond to member inquiries professionally.
- Promote programs through club communication channels.
- Manage court scheduling and program logistics.
- Oversee registration, attendance tracking, and billing coordination.
- Maintain accurate records and generate reports.
- Ensure budget expectations are met.
- Support supervision of racquets staff.
- Assist with staff scheduling.
- Help train staff on program execution and service standards.
- Lead by example in professionalism.
- Ensure courts and facilities meet standards.
- Coordinate maintenance.
- Manage inventory of equipment and supplies.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of racquets programming.
- Strong communication skills.
- Flexible schedule.
- Certifications preferred (USPTA, PTR, PPR).
- Prefer knowledge of operations in a club environment.
