Responsibilities:

  • User Research & Analysis: Lead user research initiatives to gain deep insights into user needs, behaviors, and motivations. This includes both qualitative methods like interviews and quantitative methods such as surveys.
  • Usability Testing: Design, conduct, and analyze both moderated and unmoderated usability testing sessions to assess the effectiveness and usability of our products.
  • Feedback Loop: Actively collect, analyze, and interpret user feedback from various touchpoints to pinpoint areas for potential improvement.
  • Recommendations: Translate research findings into actionable recommendations to improve the usability and overall user experience of our products and services.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and developers to ensure that user insights and feedback are effectively incorporated into the product development process.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders in an easily digestible format, ensuring a user-centered focus across teams.
  • Team Engagement: Attend and actively participate in weekly plenary and bi-weekly team meetings, contributing a research-focused perspective.

Qualifications:

  • Research Proficiency: Proven experience in designing and conducting various user research methods, including but not limited to, usability testing, interviews, surveys, and observational studies.
  • Tools & Platforms: Familiarity with tools like UserTesting.com and other UX research platforms. Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze both qualitative and quantitative data to derive meaningful insights.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to dissect complex user behaviors and motivations.
