Mid-Level Service Reliability Developer

The Digital Market Products team is looking for a Mid-Level Service Reliability Developer to join us in Seattle, WA; Colorado Springs, CO; Mesa, AZ; Berkeley; MO; Fairfax, VA; Chicago, IL; North Charleston, SC; Plano, TX; or Long Beach, CA.

We are looking for a Customer-Facing Specialist to champion the reliability, performance, and resilience of our mission-critical applications including customer portals, e-commerce systems, training platforms, and global airline support tools.

This isn't a behind-the-scenes role. You'll sit at the intersection of technology and customer experience, owning application uptime, building automation for self-healing systems, and directly communicating with internal stakeholders and airline customers when incidents arise.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides consultation and leadership to identify, evaluate and document complex computing system requirements

  • Applies expertise related to architecture, design, build and test delivery systems and components

  • Provides technical leadership to evaluate product usability, affordability, functionality, security and performance to assess suitability for integration into delivery system environments

  • Provides technical support and consultation for the implementation and usage of complex delivery systems

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience of Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence)

  • 3+ years of experience with designing and developing software for complex systems such as Distributed Systems, Multi-Threaded and Multi-Process Applications, and Client-server Architectures

  • 3+ years of experience with GitLab, Azure DevOps and CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)

  • 3+ years of experience do you have with Java/Javascript/ThreeJS/WebGL/SpringBoot/Flask

  • 3+ years of experience in Incident Management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Experience with supporting complex applications or systems

  • Experience with problem-solving, including diagnosing and resolving complex network issues

  • Experience with written and verbal communication to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Experience with maintaining thorough documentation, and implementing repeatable processes
