Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Dispatcher to coordinate daily scheduling and dispatching of field crews in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience dispatching crews, excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Experience within the construction industry and/or union environments is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and dispatch field crews, technicians, and personnel to job sites efficiently and accurately
  • Maintain daily schedules and adjust assignments based on operational needs and priorities
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, field employees, customers, and internal departments
  • Monitor crew availability, attendance, and job progress to ensure timely completion of work
  • Respond quickly to schedule changes, emergencies, and last-minute staffing requests
  • Track job status updates and provide real-time communication to management and field teams
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, union requirements, and safety guidelines when applicable
  • Maintain professionalism and strong customer service in all interactions
Qualifications
  • Minimum 4+ years of dispatching or scheduling experience, preferably dispatching crews or field personnel
  • Experience in construction, field services, transportation, logistics, and/or union environments strongly preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
