About the PositionWe are currently seeking a CDL A Yard Jockey Driver for local yard moves in Fernandina Beach, Florida. This position offers competitive pay at $22 per hour with overtime available after 40 hours.
Pay & Schedule- Pay: $22/hour
- Schedule:
- Wednesday: 12:30 PM – 6:30 PM (½ day)
- Thursday – Saturday: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- Operate as a yard jockey, moving trailers within the yard
- Move trailers outside the yard to nearby locations as needed
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff
- Follow dispatch and operational instructions closely
- Valid CDL A
- 18 months of verifiable experience operating commercial vehicles comparable to those used on this account within the past 36 months, OR
- 12 months of verifiable experience within the past 24 months
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
