Job description

Therapist
Pay Range: $78,000 - $89,440 (based on experience and/or licensure)
Schedules: Full time, PRN
Join a Mission-Driven Team at Recovery Centers of America (RCA)
At RCA, we are dedicated to saving lives through evidence-based, compassionate addiction treatment. We're looking for a passionate and experienced Therapist to join our clinical team in Danvers, MA. Whether you're focused on family or primary therapy, your work will be critical in helping our clients build the tools they need for lasting recovery.
What You'll Do
As a Therapist at RCA, you'll play a key role in guiding clients through their recovery journey. Using person-centered and evidence-based practices, you will:
  • Assess clients' mental and physical health, substance use, and readiness for treatment
  • Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment goals and plans
  • Provide education and counseling to clients and their families
  • Help clients build coping strategies and develop healthy behaviors
  • Identify and address behaviors that may interfere with recovery
  • Refer clients to appropriate external services (e.g., support groups, job placement)
  • Educate families on addiction and recovery strategies
  • Participate in community outreach when needed
  • Work closely with the Care Coordination and Clinical teams
  • Perform other clinical duties as assigned

What We're Looking For
  • Master's degree in clinical psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of supervised experience in substance use disorder counseling
  • Preferred Licenses: MHC, LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, Ph.D. in Psychology
  • 1-3 years of experience working with culturally diverse populations in behavioral healthcare or substance abuse settings
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with dual-diagnosis patients is a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
