Job description

Briskets Bbq & Country Kitchen in Chuluota, FL is a fast paced busy BBQ restaurant and is looking for one pitmaster trainee to join our strong team. We are located on 640 S CR 419 Chuluota FL 32766. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and hard-working and desires to learn or increase their knowledge in smoking meats.

Responsibilities

  • Work and train under out Pitmaster
  • Learn how to prep and trim meats to smoke
  • learn how to smoke meats
  • learn firebox management
  • Be able to lift boxes heavy boxes of meat

Qualifications

  • Some culinary experience
  • Would be great to have some meat cutting and or BBQ experience
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes of meats
  • A food handlers license or higher preferred
