Job description

Headquartered in Ft. Wayne, IN, Tippmann Group is a privately held holding company for Tippmann Construction, Tippmann Properties, and Interstate Warehousing. Our companies are recognized as national leaders in refrigerated construction, distribution, and warehousing solutions, as well as property management. This position is a full-time, onsite position in the corporate office located in Fort Wayne, IN.

Tippmann Construction 3D Modelers + Visualization Artists work closely with and within the Tippmann Construction Design team. Modelers are responsible for utilizing 3D software to create digital models, blueprints, and visual renders of current marketing and in-progress projects. Modelers are also one of the supporting resources focused on understanding project design needs, developing site and facility solutions with clients, drafting options, scope definition, assisting third party-engineers with project planning and cost estimations, and presenting the options to Tippmann Leadership and customers.

Core Responsibilities:
Utilize 3D modeling software to develop detailed site and building designs, ensuring designs meet the customer specifications.
Modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and postproduction for architectural and interior design scenes
Work with customers and outside stakeholders to modify design options and drive resolution on open design elements and issues
Support the Tippmann preconstruction and engineering team throughout the marketing and engineering process
Operate as the 3D artist on stills, animations, and real-time projects.
Critical thinking matching rendering to the project scope and updating as design develops
Coordinate with outside consulting firms

Skills and Capabilities:
Bachelor's degree in computer graphics technology, visual communication, or similar
Understanding and experience with 3D Modeling and BIM concepts
High levels of proficiency with REVIT, Sketchup, 3DS Max, or related modeling technology
Industrial facility design, engineering, and construction experience a plus
Knowledge of rendering software such as Enscape, Lumion, Twinmotion, D5, Unreal etc.
Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Cloud
Proven capability to learn quickly and problem solve in multi-solution and ambiguous situations
Strong internal and external communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated leadership in driving decisions among a team of individuals
Track record of positive job performance, attention to detail and results-oriented experience
Self-starter, highly motivated, and works with limited supervision
Possess a working knowledge of Bluebeam
Work in real-time to provide meeting support via Teams meetings and in-person
