Position Summary

The Task Force Front Desk Agent / Night Auditor provides operational support to hotels experiencing staffing shortages, new hotel openings, training initiatives, special projects, or temporary coverage needs. This position requires flexibility to work all shifts, including mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays, as business demands require.

The ideal candidate is a highly adaptable hospitality professional with strong front desk and night audit experience who can quickly integrate into different hotel environments while delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining brand standards.

Essential Responsibilities Front Desk Operations
  • Welcome and register guests efficiently and professionally.
  • Process check-ins, check-outs, room changes, and guest requests.
  • Handle reservations, cancellations, and billing inquiries.
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards and guest service expectations.
  • Support guest satisfaction initiatives and loyalty program enrollments.
Night Audit Responsibilities
  • Complete nightly audit procedures accurately and on time.
  • Balance daily revenue, room charges, and financial transactions.
  • Reconcile credit card and cash transactions.
  • Prepare and distribute daily operational reports.
  • Process end-of-day system rollovers.
  • Ensure accuracy of guest accounts and folios.
  • Maintain security and safety procedures during overnight shifts.
Task Force Responsibilities
  • Travel to assigned hotel properties as needed.
  • Adapt quickly to different teams, cultures, and operational procedures.
  • Assist with training and onboarding of hotel staff when requested.
  • Support hotels during high occupancy periods, staffing transitions, and special projects.
  • Learn and utilize various hotel property management systems.
  • Represent the company professionally at all locations.

Qualifications Required
  • Minimum 1 year of hotel front desk experience.
  • Previous night audit experience.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including overnight shifts.
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to travel to assigned hotel locations.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to work at multiple properties.
  • Basic accounting and cash handling experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel technology systems.
Preferred
  • Experience with Hilton, Marriott, and Hyatt hotel brands.
  • Knowledge of hotel PMS systems such as: OnQ, PEP, FOSSE, Lightspeed, Opera PMS, MARSHA, SynXis
  • Multi-property or task force experience.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience.
