Job Description:

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide behavioral support to patients in a healthcare or behavioral health setting. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), who will provide initial training and ongoing guidance.

The role involves implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to support patients with behavioral needs, following individualized treatment plans. All patient information and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) will be provided upon start.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct 1:1 ABA therapy to patients with behavioral or developmental needs
  • Implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision
  • Collect and document data on patient progress
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and behavioral team
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards

Minimum Requirements:

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and/or State Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) license
  • High School diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience (preferred)
  • Associate’s degree in behavioral studies or related field (preferred)
  • Current CPR certification (if applicable)
  • TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest x-ray (if applicable)
