Job Title: Solar Laborer

Job Description

This role supports the installation of solar panels on commercial rooftops and carports throughout the Phoenix area. You will work outdoors as part of a construction crew, using hand and basic power tools to assist with solar panel installation and related mechanical and electrical tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation of solar panels on commercial rooftops and carports.
  • Perform general labor and construction tasks to support solar installation projects.
  • Use hand tools and basic equipment safely and effectively during installation work.
  • Handle and move solar panels and materials, including lifting items weighing 50 pounds or more.
  • Work on your feet outdoors for 8–10 hours a day in varying weather conditions.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate clearly with team members to ensure safe and coordinated work.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area on rooftops and around carports.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Arrive on time and reliably fulfill scheduled shifts to support project timelines.

Essential Skills

  • At least 1 year of outdoor construction experience.
  • Ability to work on your feet outdoors for 8–10 hours per day.
  • Ability to lift 50 or more pounds safely and repeatedly.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools in a construction or installation setting.
