Job Title: Accounts Payable SpecialistJob DescriptionThe Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing vendor invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely payment of company obligations. This position works closely with vendors, internal departments, and the accounting team to support efficient accounts payable operations. Experience with Sage Intacct and Salesforce is highly preferred.
Responsibilities- Verify, process, and ensure timely and accurate vendor invoice handling.
- Match invoices to purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documentation.
- Enter and code invoices into Sage Intacct in accordance with company accounting policies.
- Process weekly payment runs, including checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.
- Maintain vendor records, including W-9 documentation and banking information.
- Respond to vendor and employee inquiries regarding invoices and payment status.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, account reconciliations, and accruals.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper approval and coding of expenses.
- Utilize Salesforce to review customer and project information as needed for invoice verification and reporting.
- Support external audits by providing requested documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives and accounts payable workflow enhancements.

Work EnvironmentThe position follows a hybrid schedule: remote work on Monday and Thursday, and onsite presence on Tuesday and Wednesday. The work environment encourages collaboration and efficiency, utilizing technologies such as Sage Intacct and Salesforce.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Jeffersonville, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00/hr.
