CORE JOB SUMMARY
TheTemporary Marketing Specialistprovides day-to-day marketing support for the Miami Herbert Business School's graduate business programs. This role assists with content development, marketing materials, campaign execution, and project coordination to help support student recruitment and enrollment marketing initiatives.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
- Review, edit, and optimize marketing content for websites, emails, landing pages, brochures, and digital campaigns.
- Write and proofread marketing copy that aligns with the Miami Herbert Business School brand and messaging.
- Develop creative briefs and coordinate with designers and other creative partners to produce marketing assets.
- Assist with maintaining and updating website content and other digital marketing materials.
- Support marketing campaign execution by coordinating timelines, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring projects remain on schedule.
- Compile and organize marketing reports, campaign performance metrics, and other data to support the marketing team.
- Assist with quality assurance by reviewing marketing materials for accuracy, consistency, and brand standards.
- Provide general marketing and administrative support for recruitment initiatives and special projects as assigned.
- Writes or edits, direct the design of, publishes, and distributes marketing and communication materials.
- Maintains familiarity with all departmental programs and services and updates all communication resources accordingly.
- Serves as editor for all departmental newsletters and assumes responsibility for promoting, updating, and responding to all social media.
- Develops the content of the department's website and monitors information to assure the web site is accurate.
- Develops advertising messages and promotional campaigns for the organization.
- Creates tracking systems that evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs and projects implemented by the department.
- Coordinates and assists with special events and community outreach projects designed to increase awareness and utilization of services.
- Oversees the maintenance of essential resources and background files including subject and source files, photo files, and related information.
- Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field required
