Job description

Job Title: Production Operator / Water Treatment OperatorJob Description

As a Production Operator / Water Treatment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring water treatment and process systems. You will ensure the efficient and safe operation of systems by performing routine inspections and adjustments.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor water treatment and process systems.
  • Perform routine site walkarounds and equipment inspections.
  • Open, close, and adjust valves to control process flow and system performance.
  • Monitor system pressures and understand pressure relief/release procedures.
  • Read and interpret process schematics, P&IDs, and operating procedures.
  • Track and record operational data and system performance.
  • Identify operational issues and communicate concerns to supervisors.
  • Support safe startup, shutdown, and normal operating activities.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in water treatment, oil & gas, production operations, or industrial plant operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and operating procedures.
  • Knowledge of pressure systems, valves, and process equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and operating procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • H2S certification/training preferred (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying environmental conditions.
  • Experience as Oilfield Operators, Lease Operators, Production Operators, or Water Treatment Operators is highly encouraged.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
