About the Role:

This role will support the operations readiness team and provide operational input into the project design for both the Floating Production System (FPS) and Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) vessel. The role will interface across all project teams through construction, commissioning, and hook-up phases to ultimately lead the start-up and steady state operations of the Trion field.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Lead the technical review for the operations readiness team on the FPU, FSO, and SURF systems. Diagnose operability in design and provide recommendations to the project team as needed.
  • Lead the operations start-up assurance which includes handover assurance from commissioning, pre-start-up safety reviews, and ultimately leading to start-up engineering support for operations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally in the development of operating procedures and transfer of enduring risks from the project to operate phase
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve overall production and uptime goals for the Trion project upon start-up. Integration points include detailed engineering for topsides and subsea, construction, commissioning, and hook-up phases.
  • Work with completions engineering team to understand well completions and implement temporary well flowback facilities and procedures for initial well startup.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols in accordance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Lead the digitalization reviews and ensure operations workflows are captured via software selection and dashboard creation.
  • Progress one-off special projects as they become available.
Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in offshore operations. Offshore rotational work experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supporting offshore operations, preferably in a similar role.
  • Problem solving abilities and adaptable in a dynamic project environment.
  • Strong knowledge of offshore production systems, process control, and safety protocols.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for offshore facilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Thorough experience of the application of SAP and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and 365)
