Job Title: Sanitation Worker

Job Description

The Sanitation Technician is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all machinery, equipment, and facilities to establish a clean environment for producing and packaging quality products.

12:30 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday to Thursday.

9am to 6pm Fridays

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all machinery and equipment.
• Maintain a clean environment in all production areas.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and industry standard cleaning procedures.
• Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness of the facility.
• Work as a team player, helping out where needed and being flexible with duties.

Essential Skills

• Experience in manufacturing and production environments.
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) experience.
• Experience with sanitation and cleaning machinery.
• Basic knowledge of sanitation equipment function and operation.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and urgency in food safety matters.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work the 2nd shift (12:30 PM - 9:00 PM, Monday to Friday).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Food production experience.
• Motivated and good attitude.
• Average mathematical skills.
• Ability to freely move around the entire facility.

Work Environment

This role is based in a very sterile and clean new almond factory equipped with machinery transferred from a former New York plant. While this is a new facility, we are a well-established company with two other plants in the area. Please note that individuals with a tree nut allergy will be unable to work here. The position requires working the 2nd shift from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pennsauken, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
