Job description

I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supports the National Defense Medical System (NDMS) goals and objective through planning, coordination, and implementation of operational and program functions.
• Serves as a resource to the NDMS team and the stakeholders to enhance and optimize the implementation of the NDMS pilot project.
• Provides project management support which includes quarterly progress reports and the development of the evaluation plan.
• Aligns with the mission and values of The Queen's Health Systems (QHS) and is highly motivated to advance the organization through NDMS.
II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking.
• Constant: sitting, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods.
• Frequent: walking.
• Occasional: standing, stooping/bending, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, lifting and carrying usual weight of 1 pound up to 5 pounds, reaching above, at and below shoulder level, frequent gripping of an object.
III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.
IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
• Bachelor's degree required.
B. EXPERIENCE:
• Prior experience with project coordination with the ability to manage, problem solve and multi-task and deliver projects on time.
• Experience to demonstrate:
o Ability to work collaboratively with a broad spectrum of people to lead and implement process and operational changes.
o Skill and ability to communicate effectively with physicians, administration, management, and staff.
o Advanced application skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
o Effective meeting, presentation, and facilitation skills.
