Job description

Adecco Staffing is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist for a client site in Desert Hot Springs, CA. Looking to break into the Cannabis Industry?
This could be your chance to join a growing and exciting industry with a reputable company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Quality Assurance & Control. This is a temp to hire opportunity. The starting pay is $25.00 - $30.00 an hour/weekly pay. Schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm must be flexible with overtime when needed.

REQUIRED - CID (Cannabis Industry Badge) is MANDATORY
Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality inspections throughout production

  • Maintain inspection reports and test data

  • Ensure products meet SOPs and quality standards

  • Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations

  • Calibrate and maintain QC equipment

  • Investigate quality issues and identify process improvements

  • Communicate quality and compliance concerns promptly

  • Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives


Qualifications/Requirements:?

  • 3+ years of Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience Food & beverage manufacturing experience preferred

  • Ability to climb and move around machinery

  • Kneel, stand or bend and lift 50+ pounds

  • Ability to work at heights

  • REQUIRED - CID (Cannabis Industry Badge) is MANDATORY

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Service, Quality Control, or a related field is preferred

  • Cannabis manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required

  • Experience with: METRC, Quality Management Systems (QMS) Regulatory submissions

  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills

  • Understanding of quality testing equipment

  • Knowledge of brewing, beverages, or flavor profiling is helpful

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
