Job description
Sir Lines-A-Lot provides traffic control services and pavement markings on roads and parking lots. We take pride in the quality of our work, value the safety of our employees, and work with integrity as a team. This role will ensure safety in construction zones by managing traffic and installing traffic control devices, and installation of pavement markings. This role would be to support our team based in Sioux City, IA. This role is in a dynamic and ever changing business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up of work site, including traffic and pedestrian control.
- Installation of signs, traffic cones, and barricades
- Temporary barrier rail, message boards, and other smart zone equipment
- Remove all signs, barricades, and traffic cones upon completion of work.
- Control traffic flow and close roads on construction projects.
- Direct or divert pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
- Layout- and installation of pavement markings on parking lots, and roadways.
- Performs all duties according to safety procedures and uses appropriate safety equipment.
Experience/Requirements:
- High School education or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License required (CDL preferred or ability to obtain)
- Strong mechanical know-how, and ability to troubleshoot equipment in the field
- Experience in parking lot striping, landscaping, and road painting a plus
- Must be able to pass a DOT Physical
- Must be able to pass a Drug Screen
- Ability to lift consistently up to 50 lbs
