Job description

Production Operator Pay Rate: $18.00/hr, paid weekly. Schedule: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday. Location: Stow, OH 44224. Duration: 3-month temporary assignment. Summary The Production Operator performs routine manufacturing tasks for new and existing products by following standardized procedures and work instructions. This role supports pilot plant and production-scale manufacturing processes for catalyst carriers, including weighing, mixing, forming, and drying materials. The position also requires maintaining accurate written and electronic documentation while following all environmental, health, and safety procedures. Responsibilities
  • Perform production and pilot-scale manufacturing activities including weighing, mixing, forming, and drying materials.
  • Submit and test samples within the ERP quality system and prepare shipments for customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area by following 5S principles, including sweeping, painting, cleaning, and organizing.
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory procedures and complete required training.
  • Perform basic routine maintenance on machinery under supervision, including cleaning and assembly tasks.
  • Operate a forklift and maintain annual forklift certification.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and customers in both verbal and written formats.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including email, spreadsheets, and word processing programs such as Microsoft Office.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to perform intermediate math calculations using decimals, fractions, and S.I. units.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing work demands and collaborate effectively with others.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Forklift license required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical school or college education preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of work experience preferred.
