Overview

The Restaurant Host is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality and customer service to guests while creating a welcoming and positive first impression of the restaurant. This position requires professionalism, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain guest flow and support team operations in a fast-paced dining environment.

This is a temporary role that will start June 11, 2026, and will end on June 23, 2026

This role pays an hourly rate of $20.00 - $21.00.

This position will remain open until June 31, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Manage reservations and waitlists while maintaining smooth guest flow throughout the restaurant.
  • Assist servers and team members as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized host stand and dining area.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and staff to ensure excellent service.
  • Transport plates, glasses, and baskets to and from the dining room, service bar, and kitchen.
Qualifications
  • Must possess a valid Food Handler's certificate.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant position is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
