Temporary Dope Jobs (NOW HIRING)

New Iberia, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking Shop Hands to assist with general shop operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This is a temporary assignment expected to last 4–6 weeks Multiple openings are available.

Essential Duties:

• Perform general shop labor in support of pipe processing operations
• Assist with grit blasting pipe and related products
• Apply paint and stencils to finished products
• Bundle materials for shipment
• Apply thread compound (dope) to pipe threads
• Perform drifting and basic pipe inspections
• Assist with crating and preparing materials for shipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Requirements/Skills:

• Previous industrial, warehouse, shop, or general labor experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Must be able to work a 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule, with Saturdays as needed (currently every other Saturday)
• Steel toe boots, long pants, and a work shirt are required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout a 12-hour shift
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled industrial environment
• Must be able to perform repetitive physical tasks safely and efficiently
