Job Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes
  • Perform tooling changes and machine adjustments
  • Edit G & M code programs at the controller
  • Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Calculate feeds, speeds, and offsets
  • Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections
  • Hold tight tolerances and maintain quality standards
  • Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues
QualificationsRequired
  • CNC machining experience
  • Setup and operation experience on mills and/or lathes
  • Blueprint reading ability
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments
  • Strong understanding of machining fundamentals
Preferred
  • G & M code editing experience
  • Multi-axis machining experience
  • Programming experience
  • Knowledge of GD&T
  • Custom or prototype machining experience
