Job description

POSITION: Partnerships (Sponsorship) Assistantship
DEPARTMENT: Partnerships
REPORTS TO: Coordinator, Partnership Fulfillment
STATUS: Temporary Full-Time, Non Exempt, Onsite
SUMMARY: The Orange Bowl has been serving the South Florida community for over 80 years with the mission to inspire youth, engage our community and enhance the South Florida economy. The Orange Bowl is seeking applicants who desire a career in the sports industry for an entry level, seasonal position working with clients and assisting in managing accounts. The position offers an excellent chance to assist on essential projects and may result in a platform for career advance and great networking opportunities. The Partnership Assistantship will be responsible for assisting in the implementation and fulfillment of sponsorship benefits at sports and entertainment venues across South Florida, including the Capital One Orange Bowl.
Duration: 6.5 months /Tentative start date: Fall 2026
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Sponsor Fulfillment
  • With direction from supervisor, coordinate and execute sponsor deliverables during Orange Bowl Festival events including, but not limited to:
    • Orange Bowl Youth Football Park of the Week Program
    • Orange Bowl Cheer Championships
    • Orange Bowl Youth Football Championship Celebrations
    • Orange Bowl Creative Arts Contest
    • AutoNation Orange Bowl Basketball Classic
    • Orange Bowl Kick-Off Party
    • AvMed Orange Bowl Coaches Luncheon presented by AutoNation
    • Bacardi Orange Bowl Rhapsody
    • Orange Bowl Fan Fest
    • FPL Orange Bowl VIP Pregame Party presented by Baptist Health
    • Capital One Orange Bowl
  • With direction from supervisor, coordinate and execute sponsor promotions but not limited to:
    • Sponsor Promotions (e.g. Corona Downtown Countdown, RV Tours, Modelo Watch Parties hosted by Duffy's Sports Grill, other sponsor promotions, etc...)
  • With direction from supervisor, coordinate and execute sponsor benefits including, but not limited to:
    • Tickets and parking passes
    • Media and marketing benefits (game program ads, in-game video spots, etc.)
    • Sponsored event elements (signage, décor, gifts, donated product, etc.)
  • Assist in the development of production manuals and other organizational reports that include pertinent sponsor information
  • With direction from supervisor, coordinate and execute coordination of sponsor appreciation events (e.g. Sponsor Trip)
  • Assist in the production of sponsor fulfillments
  • Monitor the organization's website to ensure sponsor deliverables are being accurately represented
  • Assist in production of annual sponsor proof of performance reports
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Orange Bowl Creative Arts Contest
  • On-site sponsor fulfillment specialist for the Creative Arts Contest
  • Assist in the coordination of distributing the Creative Arts Contest schedule to partners
  • Assist in the coordination of developing recaps of each Creative Arts Contest visit

Orange Bowl Youth Football Alliance
  • On-site sponsor fulfillment specialist for the Park of the Week Program
  • Assist in the coordination of distributing the Park of the Week schedule to partners
  • Assist in the coordination of developing recaps of each Park of the Week visit

General
  • Maintain professional relationships with sponsors and colleagues
  • Represent the Orange Bowl Committee in a professional manner during sponsor activities, various South Florida functions, and other business related forums
  • Assist on special projects, as assigned by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree plus relevant work experience
  • Highly organized and demonstrated attention to detail
  • Able to manage, prioritize and bring to completion multiple projects
  • Ability to work under pressure and autonomously
  • Ability to multi-task on numerous projects in a short timeframe
  • Ability to be a team player and also a leader when required
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Photoshop and Publisher a plus
  • Valid Driver's License
