Job Title: Aircraft Structures Mechanic

Job Description

Join a dynamic team focused on heavy maintenance for ERJ 145 and CRJ 200 aircraft. As a Structures Mechanic, you will maintain and repair a fleet of ERJ 135 and 145 aircraft, ensuring all components meet specifications. Your role will include performing inspections during assembly and after repair or installation, documenting maintenance procedures, and practicing safety-conscious behaviors.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct heavy maintenance on ERJ 145s and CRJ 200s.
  • Maintain and repair aircraft, engines, and components according to specifications.
  • Perform inspections during assembly and after repair or installation of components.
  • Document maintenance procedures, including details about component damage, origin, and condition.
  • Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
  • Perform scheduled and non-scheduled inspections, maintenance, repairs, and alterations of aircraft.
  • Troubleshoot defective aircraft systems and components efficiently.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with airframe and aircraft maintenance.
  • Proficiency in working with CRJ and structures mechanics.
  • Previous experience with CRJ or ERJ aircraft is required.
  • Ability to perform c-checks and heavy maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with heavy maintenance on ERJ-135, 145, and CRJ aircraft.

Work Environment

Hangar located in Smyrna, TN, just 20 miles from Nashville. Candidates should be open to working both 1st shift (5:30 AM - 4:00 PM) and 2nd shift (2:00 PM - 12:30 AM) on either Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat schedules.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Smyrna, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
