Job Description
We are currently hiring a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator for a busy warehouse facility in Houston, TX 77013. This position is responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, stack, and organize materials while supporting daily warehouse operations. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to lift and move materials as needed.
Responsibilities
Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently
Load and unload trucks and shipments
Move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas
Stack and organize inventory accurately
Perform shipping and receiving duties
Conduct routine forklift inspections and report maintenance issues
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Assist with general warehouse duties when needed
Requirements
Previous forklift experience required
Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
Basic warehouse and inventory experience preferred
Strong attention to safety and detail
Reliable transportation and attendance
Ability to work overtime when needed
