Job Summary
The Driver / Warehouse Logistics Technician supports daily logistics operations by receiving, organizing, transporting, and delivering materials, equipment, and company tools. Working under the direction of the Logistics Coordinator, Supervisors, and management, this position is responsible for ensuring materials are delivered accurately and on time to support project operations.
This role requires the safe operation of company vehicles, forklifts, and telehandlers (with appropriate certifications), as well as inventory management and material verification. The position primarily supports operations at the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) construction site in North Phoenix, Arizona.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Load, unload, transport, and deliver materials, parts, tools, and equipment throughout the project site.
- Deliver, unload, and retrieve rental equipment from designated work areas.
- Safely operate forklifts, telehandlers, and other material handling equipment in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Support field operations by delivering safety supplies, equipment, and project materials.
- Consolidate, organize, and stage materials for storage, shipment, or field distribution.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and inspect materials for damage, shortages, or quality issues.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or repair needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and logistics documentation.
- Communicate with project engineers, supervisors, and construction management to ensure timely material support.
- Maintain effective working relationships with employees, subcontractors, vendors, and customers.
- Follow all company policies, OSHA regulations, and site-specific safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and work area.
- Work overtime, weekends, or modified schedules as required to meet project needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Experience operating flatbed trucks and forklifts.
- At least one (1) year of experience in warehouse, construction, logistics, or laydown yard operations.
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, dust, and direct sunlight.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance and frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong organizational, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The Company does not provide employment visa sponsorship for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Current forklift operator certification.
- Current telehandler (Class 7) certification.
- Three (3) or more years of warehouse, construction, logistics, or laydown yard experience.
- Three (3) or more years of forklift operating experience.
Work Schedule
The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, including a one-hour unpaid meal period each day.
Work schedules may vary based on business and project needs. Employees may be required to work overtime, weekends, or adjusted shifts as necessary.
Working Conditions
- Primarily works outdoors at an active commercial construction site.
- Regular exposure to heat, dust, noise, moving equipment, and changing weather conditions.
- Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times while on-site.
