Job Description

Required Skills:

  • Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in COBOL
  • Mainframe Operating Systems: In-depth knowledge of z/OS
  • Database Technologies: Expertise in IMS database concepts including IMS/DB and IMS/DC
  • Transaction Processing: Thorough understanding of CICS functionalities and programming interfaces
  • Job Control Language (JCL): Ability to write and manage JCL scripts for batch processing

Job Description

Mandatory Skills: IBM z/OS, COBOL, CICS, DB2, IBM MQ, VSAM, JCL, CA7, ChangeMan, and IBM Mainframe Utilities, along with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Solid hands-on experience in IBM z/OS, COBOL, CICS, DB2, IMS, IBM MQ, VSAM, JCL, CA7, ChangeMan, and IBM Mainframe Utilities.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills with experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
  • Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and a solid understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals and contribute to an innovative culture.
  • Provide on-call support for all environments, including weekend rotation, and participate in resolving production issues as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Banking and Cards domain experience is preferred.
