We are seeking a professional, observant, and dependable Compliance Enforcement Officer to support the day-to-day enforcement of community rules and regulations within a residential association.
Working closely with the Compliance Manager, you will help ensure residents, guests, and visitors follow the Association's guidelines and rules. This position combines community interaction, field observation, documentation, technology, and administrative responsibilities.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident communicating with the public, comfortable enforcing established policies, and able to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and good judgment.
What You'll Do
  • Monitor and enforce the property guidelines, Non-Architectural Rules, policies, and community standards.
  • Apply established rules and regulations consistently when addressing compliance situations.
  • Conduct routine patrols throughout the North and South areas of the community.
  • Professionally communicate with residents, guests, and visitors regarding compliance matters.
  • Observe, document, and maintain detailed records of violations and follow-up activity.
  • Prepare compliance letters, notices, and correspondence using community management software.
  • Maintain accurate violation information within the compliance database.
  • Monitor in-vehicle cameras and camera systems to identify potential violations.
  • Assist with the transportation, placement, and setup of mobile radar trailer units.
  • Prepare documentation and agenda materials for Compliance Committee meetings.
  • Work closely with the Compliance Manager to address ongoing compliance matters and ensure proper follow-through.
What We're Looking For
  • 2 years of security and/ or enforcement related experience with the ability to demonstrate administrative skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional and confident when interacting with residents and the public.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Ability to interpret and consistently apply established rules and regulations.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable working independently and handling situations requiring sound judgment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn community management software and monitoring technology.
  • Valid California Class C driver's license in good standing.
  • Ability to safely operate a vehicle throughout residential areas of the Association.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds.
Preferred Background
Candidates with experience in law enforcement, military service, security, code enforcement, property/community compliance, HOA operations, investigations, or other policy-enforcement environments are strongly encouraged to apply.
Physical Requirements
This position includes a combination of office and field responsibilities. The Compliance Officer must be able to regularly sit, stand, walk, reach, use hands to operate equipment, and communicate effectively. The position requires the ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
The role also requires close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Why Apply?

You'll have the opportunity to contribute to a safe, well-maintained residential environment while building a long-term career in community compliance.
If you are professional, detail-oriented, comfortable enforcing policies, and confident communicating with the public, we encourage you to apply.
