Job description

Job Title: Academic Program Administrator II

Department: Med Ed Radiology

Shift: Day Shift

Daily Work Times: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm 

Scheduled Biweekly Hours: 80

Position Summary:

The Academic Program Administrator II partners with department leaders to provide oversight and manage academic programs.  Applies standards of accreditation agencies and/or medical schools integrating into work.  Academic functions include recruitment, orientation, establishing and maintaining academic files, rotation scheduling, evaluations, duty hours, scheduling lectures, graduation, proctoring national exams and inspections.  Work requires use of multiple electronic systems.  Works with indirect supervision, a propensity for initiative utilizing independent judgement. 

 


 

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma with two years medical education experience and Certified by the Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education (TAGME).
    OR
  •  Associate degree in health care administration, business or related field and Certified by the Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education (TAGME).

    OR

  • Bachelor's degree in health care administration, business, or related field and become certified by TAGME within two years.
