Up to a full-time position requested but flexible hours may be negotiated.

Golfco International has been a manufacturer of unique replacement parts (primarily rollers) for mowers and other equipment used by golf courses and sports fields around the world for over 33 years. We design and produce our roller product lines in Redmond, WA.

We are looking for a professional CNC programming machinist with significant experience to operate and program CNC mills and multi-axis lathes with bar feeders for production of molds and finished components of our products. Candidates will help with efficient improvement of designs for parts and molds.

Programmers will be required to generate and maintain electronic and printed production documentation for all parts and molds including CAD drawings of all components and setup procedures and tool lists. Management and purchasing of tooling inventory and mold materials is also required.

Candidates will need to be proficient with SolidWorks and at least one CAM program. Surfcam, SolidCam and Key Creator are preferred CAM programs but use of other options will be considered.

In addition to programming for all CNC equipment, the position also entails help with management and supervision of production machining operations including efficient operation and maintenance of all equipment.

We have 5 CNC turning centers, 2 CNC milling centers, an automatic horizontal band saw, a meter-mix machine for casting polyurethane and other collateral production and support equipment.

The CNC milling centers are used for making molds and component parts for use in our polyurethane casting operation. The CNC turning centers are used for production of various parts for rollers, primarily shafts and tubes.

All employees must be able to work independently without constant supervision to keep the machines operating efficiently while producing high quality parts with tight tolerances on a timely basis. Employees must contribute to safe working conditions and environments for all employees and help improve organization and cleanliness of the shop. All employees must be able to collaborate as team members to help where and when needed to ensure efficient operations for the business activities.

Applicants must be able and willing to maneuver objects of at least 50 lbs. and be able to walk and maneuver freely in limited space between objects. Applicants must be able to install, uninstall and service tooling and load/unload and service production parts within and around machinery.

Sincerely,
