This position will be fully onsite in Phoenix, Arizona.

U-Haul International is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Business Operations Summer Intern to support the day-to-day operations of our Business Department. In this role, you will help ensure that internal systems run efficiently and effectively while serving as a key liaison between the department and Development Teams.

You'll play a hands-on role in identifying operational issues, supporting system improvements, and contributing to data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in development meetings, with the opportunity to eventually lead and manage these sessions

  • Identify, document, and report bugs, issues, or system failures through Azure or Microsoft Teams channels

  • Track, organize, and communicate day-to-day operational issues using Azure tools

  • Conduct research and perform quantitative analysis to identify system inconsistencies or bugs

  • Perform financial and statistical analyses to support ad-hoc business initiatives

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges

  • Support additional projects and initiatives as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field

  • 1-2 years of professional experience preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, etc.)

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

  • Strong technical writing skills

  • Familiarity with business operations tools and platforms (e.g., Azure, Databricks, Power BI) preferred
