Job description

We need a hungry, technically-sharp salesperson who can hunt new business and grow existing accounts in the commercial space (offices, schools, healthcare, warehouses, data centers, etc.).


This is NOT a cold-call cubicle job. You’ll be out in the field building relationships with GCs, electrical contractors, IT managers, and facility directors. End result is turning those relationships into signed contracts.


What You’ll Be Doing


· Prospecting and closing new structured cabling, security, and wireless projects

· Possibly conducting site walks

· Selling full turn-key solutions: Cat6/6A, fiber backbone, Wi-Fi, digital signage

· Partnering with our GM/estimator to win bids

· Managing the full sales cycle from lead to handshake

· Maintaining a healthy pipeline in our CRM

· Attending networking events, trade shows, and lunch-and-learns


What You Bring

· 3+ years of proven B2B sales experience in low voltage, electrical, IT, or construction

· Real understanding of structured cabling (you know the difference between Cat6 and 6A, OM3 vs OS2, etc.)

· Ability to read basic blueprints and bid specs

· Existing relationships with GCs and electrical contractors in the area = huge advantage

· Hunter mentality. You love finding and closing deals

· Clean driving record and professional appearance

· Bonus: BICSI RCDD, manufacturer sales certifications (Panduit, Corning, Belden, etc.)
