The Elementary Teacher (2nd grade) is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering high-quality
instruction to students in a private school setting. This role supports the academic, social, and emotional
development of each student while fostering a positive and engaging classroom environment aligned
with the schoolโ€™s mission and values.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

๏‚ท Plan and deliver standards-based instruction in core subject areas, including English Language
Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies
๏‚ท Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities
๏‚ท Create a structured, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
๏‚ท Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technology tools
๏‚ท Assess and monitor student progress using formal and informal assessments
๏‚ท Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and student performance
๏‚ท Implement classroom management strategies that promote positive student behavior
๏‚ท Support studentsโ€™ social, emotional, and character development
๏‚ท Communicate regularly and professionally with parents/guardians regarding student progress
