Job description

NOW HIRING – HIGH-ROOF SPRINTER VAN OR COMPARABLE CARGO VAN OWNER OPERATORS


Velour Coast Logistics, LLC is seeking dependable High-Roof Sprinter Van (comparable cargo van) Owner Operators to support dedicated residential delivery routes in the Sumter, SC area.


This is a long-term contract opportunity for professional owner-operators looking for consistent work with a growing logistics company.


Because this is a dedicated 7-day-a-week route, we strongly encourage Primary Drivers to have a trusted backup driver available. If you have a family member, friend, or colleague who can cover your route when you're sick, on vacation, or unavailable, we'd be happy to consider them. If you do not that is fine as well.

What you'll do:


  • Deliver packages door-to-door to customers' homes using a company-provided delivery app
  • Report to your assigned store location daily, with dispense/departure around 2:00 PM
  • Capture proof of delivery (scan + photo) for every stop
  • Maintain a clean, professional-looking van and represent Velour Coast and our client well


Schedule:


Start date: 7/29 — no exceptions 1:30 load time 2:00 Pm start

Available 7 days a week (holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's off)

Routes run up to 10.5 hours, including a 30-minute store stop


Pay:

$265 per day — paid regularly as an independent contractor


What you need:

  • Your own cargo van (standard or high-roof style, minimum 300 cu ft cargo space) — no box trucks, SUVs, or pickups
  • A clean, well-maintained van with no major dents, odors, or damage
  • Current, valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Current personal auto insurance
  • Android smartphone (or willingness to run a delivery app on your personal phone)
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Professional appearance — dark or navy pants
  • Reliability — this route has firm daily arrival times
