To thrive as a Software Architect Intern, you need a solid understanding of software development principles, programming languages (such as Java, Python, or C#), and a background in computer science or a related field. Familiarity with architectural modeling tools, version control systems like Git, and exposure to cloud platforms or frameworks is typically expected. Strong analytical thinking, communication, and a willingness to learn from senior architects help interns stand out in this role.
