We're looking for a Service Technician Apprentice who is ready to learn the trade and be a part of a team that takes pride in doing things the right way. Responsibilities
  • Under direct supervision, assist in installations, repairs, and maintains propane equipment for retail customers.
  • Develops knowledge and trains on how to load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane to and from specified destinations.
  • Assists in inspecting vehicles and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance.
  • Under direct supervision, assists in preparing and maintaining records in accordance with regulations and company procedures. Operates truck in accordance to established safety procedures.
  • Under direct supervision, during daily interaction with customers provides exceptional customer service by supplying service/safety information and answering inquires.
  • Will be required to train with team members who are working on call rotation for after hours and weekend emergency deliveries or response as needed.
  • Once qualified, may be required to drive a Bobtail truck base on business needs and/or "On Call" rotation
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Under direct supervision, may work on propane appliances when needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Willingness to obtain Commercial driver's license (Class A or B) with hazmat and tanker endorsement if not currently obtained
  • Good driving record
  • Proficient in speaking, writing, and understanding the English language.
  • Commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A or B license with hazmat and tanker endorsement preferred.
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
  • Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
