About the Role
The Senior EHS Specialist serves as a key technical resource responsible for advancing a proactive safety culture and ensuring environmental compliance across the site. This role partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to reduce risk, enhance compliance, and drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Champion a culture of safety by engaging employees at all levels and promoting accountability for safe behaviors
  • Develop and deliver EHS training programs, tools, and resources
  • Partner with site leadership to align operational goals with safety and environmental expectations
  • Lead initiatives to improve safety performance and environmental sustainability
  • Conduct audits, assessments, and data analysis to identify risks and improvement opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, permits, and reporting obligations
  • Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
  • Stay current with OSHA regulations and industry best practices
  • Collaborate across departments to integrate EHS into daily operations and projects

Reports to the EHS Director
Work Environment:
On-site with occasional travel to other company locations
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in EHS, environmental studies, engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in safety, environmental, or sustainability roles
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
